Another option to get from Orly Airport to Marriott’s Village d’ile-de-France is to use a train. Note that there is no direct train line to the hotel, so you’ll need to do several transfers. These are usually a combination of bus, train, and tram.
The best route (which is also the fastest) takes 2 hours and starts from Orly 4. You need to board the tram line ORLYVAL toward Antony and ride for 7 minutes, after which you need to go through a 14-minute transfer. This is where you board train line B toward KADO.
After 8 minutes, you’ll arrive at Massy-Palaiseau where you have another transfer (which should take around 10 minutes) to train line 061A toward Strasbourg. A 29-minute ride will get you to Marne-la-Vallée-Chessy TGV, followed by a 45-minute transfer to Chessy Nord-Quai N.
Here, get on bus line 59 toward Gare de Crécy-la-Chapelle (Dépose) and get off at the Les Genêts stop (where you should arrive after around 8 minutes of riding the bus). Finally, you have a 7-minute walk to Marriott’s Village d’ile-de-France.
Since there are 4 transfers, expect to pay more than for a train over €50.
Transfer from Orly Airport to Marriott’s Village d’ile-de-France by Bus
For those of you who are on a budget, traveling by bus is a more affordable option. Paris has a great public transportation system and the buses are always on time. To get from Orly Airport to Marriott’s Village d’ile-de-France there are several bus routes.
The fastest one takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes and is available every hour. It starts from Orly 1-2-3. Board the Navette Orly going toward Aller Disneyland Paris and ride for 1 hour to Chessy Nord-Quai C. From there, you’ll have to walk 2 minutes to Chessy Nord-Quai F and board bus 35 to Gare de Marne-La-Vallée Chessy Nord.
After 7 stops (approximately 11 minutes), get off at Les Genêts and walk for 8 minutes to Marriott’s Village d’ile-de-France. All in all, this route should cost you around €25.
The second fastest option you can get on if you miss the first starts from Orly 4. Initially, you also board Navette Orly toward Aller Disneyland Paris and ride for 1 hour to Chessy Nord-Quai C. Here, you need to walk 3 minutes to Chessy Nord-Quai N and board bus 59 to Gare de Crécy-La-Chapelle (Dépose). Ride for 2 stops (it shouldn’t take more than 7 minutes) and get off at Les Genêts. Again, walk for 8 minutes and you’ll arrive at Marriott’s Village d’ile-de-France.
This route takes approximately 1 hour and 47 minutes and is available every 40 minutes. The price is more or less the same as the first route—€25.
