Many other carriers use Orly as their main airport into the French capital and the airport receives passengers from North America, the Caribbean, North Africa, Asia and even as far as Polynesia.
Orly airport has two terminals to cope with the 32 million passengers its processes each year and can be extremely busy. The airport is connected to the region via road and rail.
There are no direct public transport services from Orly to Montmartre so they only way to go door to door without connections is a private taxi.

Transfers from Orly Airport to Montmartre by Train
There are many different methods on the Parisian suburban rail network to get between Orly Airport to Montmartre, however we will only focus on the shortest and most straight forward options.
Orly Airport is served by the Orlyval, a driverless automatic light railway that connects the airport to the RER at Antony on the RER B line.
The first option is to take the Orlyval to Antony where you take the RER B to Denfert-Rochereau. From there you change to the Metro 4 line all the way to Chateau Rouge where you can walk 10-15 minutes to Montmartre.
The second option is to again make your way to Antony on the Orlyval and take the RER B train, but this time to Gare du Nord. From there transfer to La Chapelle where you take the Metro line 2 to Anvers where Montmartre is a short walk away.
Duration: 1 hour 5 minutes.
Cost: Orlyval single ticket is €13.20, Children under 4 go free. The RER service is then Adult single ticket €10, Child single ticket €7.
There are no intercity rail services between Orly Airport to Montmartre.
Transfer from Orly to Montmartre by Bus
There are a couple of bus options, both of which start on the Direct 1 bus and then utilise the Metro to complete your journey. Both journeys take approximately 1 hour 5 minutes and cost the same.
The first option is to take the Direct 1 from Sortie (Exit) L to Gare Montparnasse. There you change to the Metro line 10 to Place de Clichy. At Place de Clichy you change to the Metro line 2 to Anvers where Montparnasse is a short walk away.
The second option is to again take the Direct 1 to Gare Montparnasse. But this time take the Metro line 12 to Abbesses where Montmartre is a 10 minute walk away.
