Here are step-by-step instructions for getting from the airport to your Disneyland accommodation via train:
- At Orly Airport, take the Orlyval light rail train from the terminal to Antony station. This is the connecting point to the RER suburban metro train lines.
- At Antony station, board an RER B train heading to Chatelet Les Halles station in central Paris. The ride takes around 35 minutes.
- At Chatelet Les Halles, change to an RER A train going towards Marne la Vallee Chessy. This is the Disneyland Paris train station. The RER A journey takes about 50 minutes. Make sure to pay close attention to the stops along the way.
- Once you arrive at Marne la Vallee Chessy train station, you can either take a shuttle bus or local bus the rest of the way to Sequoia Lodge. Just follow the signs to the Disneyland hotels.
The entire public transportation journey takes roughly 1 hour and 45 minutes, a bit longer if you just miss a connection. Make sure to purchase a one-way RER train ticket from a machine or booth before boarding, which costs €10.30 for adults over 10 years old. Kids under 10 ride free.
While taking the train is definitely cheaper than a taxi, it does require managing luggage across platforms and on different transit systems. You’ll also need to keep close watch over any young children. For hassle-free transport, a taxi is likely the better option for families.
By Bus
There is one bus option that provides transport between Orly Airport and Disneyland Paris – the Magic Shuttle Bus. This coach bus runs daily, stopping both at Marne la Vallee Chessy train station and major Disneyland area hotels.
To take the bus from Orly Airport:
- Locate the Magic Shuttle ticket counter or kiosk in the Arrivals area
- Purchase tickets for the next bus departure time
